  1. Film

Prop your phone at the side of the court, 3 to 4 m away. Use the green and amber framing feedback to check your position.

  2. Score

Your phone estimates body movement and produces a technique score when the recording is suitable. Processing time varies by device.

  3. Fix

You get one fix, not ten. It is the part of the shot that costs you the most points right now.

  4. Drill

Choose a move, read its practice guidance and record again to compare your technique.

Padel training with Golpix: your questions

Which padel shots can I practise?

Golpix includes 16 padel moves with practice guidance, including forehand volley, backhand volley, bandeja and serve. Animated illustrations show the movement and contact guides. Technique scores estimate visible body movement and are still in development.

Which phones does it work on?

Golpix is being tested on iPhone and Android. Recording, analysis speed and compatibility depend on your device; beta access is by invitation.

Where do I put the phone?

At the side of the court, about 3 to 4 m away, so your whole body fits in the frame. Use a stand or a water bottle, or ask a friend to film. The app tells you when the framing is right.

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

A practice recording stays on your phone. If you publish a tutorial or add a profile photo, that media is uploaded. History sync and sharing body points are separate choices in Privacy settings.

How accurate is the score?

Scores estimate visible body movement, not ball speed, spin or the whole quality of your game. Some move profiles are experimental. Compare the same move under similar recording conditions and use the result as practice guidance.

Who is it for?

Recreational players aged 16 and up, from first season to club level, who want to improve one shot at a time.

What does the beta involve?

We email you an invite to a test version for Android or iPhone. You film a few shots a week and tell us where the score or the fix feels wrong. The beta is free.

Which languages?

English, German and Spanish. Choose your language in the app settings.

How do I get off the waitlist?

Reply to any email from us and we delete your entry.
